Do you like those crackers known as grahams? You do, of course, especially when served with chia jam. You could buy them off of a shelf, but knowing you, you’d rather make them yourself! Start with whole wheat and unbleached flour, then add some salt, baking soda and powder. You’ll sift, mix, roll and bake—but don’t worry, pretty soon you’ll get a break. In the preheated oven they’ll go, while your kiddos lick the remaining dough. Once the baking’s done, celebrate! These graham crackers won’t last long on a plate.

  7. Bake for 12 minutes.
