"According to medical journal sources listed on the wikipedia entry for k2 this version, MK4 (menetetrenone), not MK7, is the kind to get. Plus, even though it's more expensive per capsule each capsule is 5mg, which makes it cheaper per mg. Remember it takes 1000mcg to equal 1mg."

"After researching the ingredients...- I discovered that Carlson K2, is the MK-4 form & only lasts a few hours (same with K-1).
The best long lasting form of Vitamin K- is K2 from menaquinone-7!- This is available from Vitacost as MK-7, or with NSI's K2 + D3."
