Good product with a major flaw,

"This - like other Weil products I have experience with - seems to be a great product, yet it has one significant flaw: the pills are simply too big ("massive" would be a more accurate adjective). I have swallowed a lot of vitamins in my life (many of them quite large) and have never, ever had problems like with these. On more than one occasion a pill has gotten stuck my esophagus and caused extreme discomfort. This is an issue which may even be dangerous. Too bad, since otherwise I consider this to be a great product. Would it really have been so difficult to simply make smaller pills and set the serving size to two instead of one?"

"I thought the other reviewers on here were just exaggerating about how big these pills are, but they're not!!! These are the biggest pills I've ever seen! I can still choke them down, but I'm sure they're a challenge for many!"

"I am a vegan who's been using this supplement for a year or so without any complaint. However, I recently became curious about whether this is in fact suitable for vegans, as the label doesn't address the issue at all. I did some investigating and discovered that the Vitamin D3 used in the product is from lanolin, which is derived from lambswool. I will immediately switch to a product that contains D2 instead."
