How Does NSI® Synergy Platinum Multi-Vitamin Version 4 Work?
NSI® Synergy Platinum is a super-charged multi-vitamin that provides a comprehensive array of nutrients which support total body health. It also features nutrients that target specific areas of concern, including cardiovascular, neurological, bone and joint, visual, immune, circulatory health and more.
This exclusive formula delivers optimal amounts of nutrients based on results of scientific studies published in reputable medical journals. The NSI® Scientific Advisory Board of medical doctors regularly reviews current research on the impact of nutrition, including vitamin, mineral and phytonutrient supplementation, on health.
Synergy Platinum Multi-Vitamin Version 4 contains increased amounts and high-quality forms of recommended daily vitamins. For example, while most popular multi-vitamin brands provide only 60 mg of vitamin C, Synergy Platinum delivers 2,000 mg of vitamin C (as Advan-C® mineral ascorbate complex and ascorbyl palmitate). Advan-C is a superior form of vitamin C that is gentler on the stomach, better absorbed by the body and stays in the system longer than other forms. It also includes 4,000 IU of vitamin D3 (the RDA is only 400 IU); 2,000 mcg of vitamin B12; 2,000 mcg of folic acid; 15,000 IU of Pro-Vitamin A; 500 mg of calcium (as Advan-C® calcium ascorbate, calcium citrate and dicalcium malate); 400 mcg of selenium and more.
In addition to these essential vitamins and minerals, Synergy Platinum contains a wide variety of antioxidant phytonutrients that help protect the body's healthy cells from the effects of free radial damage. You'll also find high-quality green tea extract (standardized to 98% polyphenols), grape skin and grape seed extracts, pine bark extract and BerryVin™ High ORAC Berries blend, which contains extracts from strawberries, blueberries, cranberries, blackberries and other antioxidant-rich fruits.
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), which promotes cardiovascular health and plays an important part in cellular energy production, is included as ToCoQ10™, an exclusive, patent-pending NSI® formula combining all-natural, yeast-fermented CoQ10 plus tocotrienols and tocopherols (potent forms of vitamin E) that work synergistically with CoQ10 to provide powerful antioxidant protection. BioPerine®, a natural extract of black pepper, is included to enhance absorption of CoQ10.
Omega-3 essential fatty acids , beneficial for cardiovascular, neurological, skin, bone and joint health and more, are included at a dose of 2,000 mg of DHA- and EPA-rich fish oil. NSI® fish oil is derived from fresh, deep-sea, cold-water fish, harvested from waters off the coast of South American, where there are significantly less environmental impurities. It also undergoes the process of molecular distillation to ensure mercury and any other potential contaminants are eliminated.
Synergy Platinum also contains glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate, two potent protectors of joint health. These nutrients play an important role in the production of cartilage (the "cushioning" material between bones). They also help keep joints lubricated so they may move smoothly and comfortably.
