Good product Works well and has safe ingredients. November 12, 2014
Some Problems... I did a lot of research on sunscreens before deciding on All Terrain. The only reason I initially chose it over Badger was because the price was better. I love the fact that it's not loaded with chemicals, but the first thing I noticed when I opened it was a rancid oil smell. I use a lot of oils in cooking and beauty products, so I'm pretty good at detecting this scent. I contacted the company about my concerns and I was pleased that they responded quickly. However, after taking my info and the lot number of the bottle, I didn't hear from them again, which was very disappointing. Because we were going on vacation, I didn't have time to order any other natural sunscreens and went ahead and used it. It seemed to work okay, but I didn't like the consistency. It didn't rub in very well (even for a natural sunscreen) and started flaking off after it dried a bit. Perhaps it was just a bad batch, but I have no way of knowing since All Terrain never finished communicating with me and I do not plan to buy it again. I have since purchased Badger and love it!! Thick but effective Goes on thick b/c of the physical sunscreen agents, and lack of chemical sunscreen agents. Works great for swimming in pools, rivers, the sea, what have you! Rub it in really well so you don't look paler than you are. Great! Comparable to Badger sunscreen. July 5, 2014
Works Great, Stays on in Water I've seen a lot of negative reviews about this product due to the thickness and lumpiness of the sun screen. It's true, it is more difficult to apply than more liquid and more toxic creams. But it WORKS. And it works well. Last year while training for an Ironman Triathlon, I would regularly bike for 3 to 4 hours in 95 degree heat. Even after hours of sweating, the sunscreen was still protecting my skin. I never burned, and when I showered, I would have to vigorously scrub to remove the remaining sunscreen. It will take you longer to apply, it will require more attention to make sure you cover your skin evenly, and your sweat will bead up on your skin. But you'll be protected, you won't smell like chemicals, you won't have to repeatedly reapply, and you won't burn. What else can you ask for? July 14, 2013
Lumpy Bought many bottles last year and the lotion was lumpy. I tried to squeeze the lumps out so I could rub the lotion in but there were too many. Will try one more bottle this year and hope it won't be lumpy. May 20, 2013
