"This is definitely an easy way for one to incorporate buckwheat into their or their kids' diet. The taste is rather mild. In milk the sugar/maple coating seems to wash off and the flakes seem tasteless. I found the flakes to have a reasonable crunchiness, maybe just a touch crunchier than kellogs frosted flakes. My personal preference would be for them to cut the sugar by half. Compared to a typical kids cereal this has a lot less sugar, but if I'm choosing a product for health I don't want more than a touch of sugar. Cereals like Kix manage to use less sugar, and it can always be added based on preference, but not removed."

"They're pretty good. They go soggy pretty fast, but as long as you don't wait too long, they taste good. Different consistency than other kinds of flakes. And no gluten!"
