Aubrey Silken Earth Translucent Base Porcelain Beige -- 21 oz
I have been using this for a few weeks, along with a new skin regimen. At first, it was difficult to cover blemishes but after a few weeks my skin is clearer and I think that is partly due to not using liquid foundations anymore. Now I find it covers well and lasts all day.

Coverage is, well "translucent", not really covering much of anything. I am considered fair-skinned and this is really too light for me. I have rated it as "OK" because it has the best (safest) ingredients I have found for makeup.

Over the years, I have purchased many cosmetics. I tired Bare Minerals but found the power emphasized my fine lines and pores. I read the reviews on Aubrey's powder and thought why not? At first glance I thought it would be too light (natural porcelain beige) but it blends into the skin providing an overall effect that is polished. It smells wonderful and seems to glide on much better than other mineral make-up I have tried. If you need a lot of coverage, I would suggest using a liquid base first. I will definitely purchase this again.

Good Finishing Powder but Requires Some Work
I use this powder as a finishing powder over a liquid foundation or a tinted moisturizer. This powder is not really long lasting, it is a little drying, and oxidizes just a tad to a bit darker shade (but nothing major). I would say that this powder is approximately NW15 when you first apply it but then becomes NW18-20 (on the MAC scale). This powder is VERY matte, so I mixed it with some other illuminating powder (and then I realized that there is an Aubrey illuminating powder as well, I should have mixed with that) as I like more luminous finish. The powder is very sheer, I wouldn't call it a base at all. Regardless of all the troubles I am trying to use more natural products that is why I will buy this powder again as I trust Aubrey and their ingredients.

GREAT finishing powder!
I have tried them all-- Mac, Benefit, Stila etc.. This loose powder is the BEST! Plus-- it's all natural... I have light to medium skin tone and use Tarte clay foundation in light/med and this color looks perfect. I have tried the Porcelain and it's way TOO light...
Using a fluffy powder brush first then touching up with a poder puff works well. Try it, you'll LOVE it!
