A Bit Disappointed
Not crazy about this brand. I use Red Palm oil all the time but this one has a stronger flavor than I prefer.

Red Palm Oil
It is a little strong for my taste, but I mix it with EVOO

GOOD FOR ONES HEALTH
I read up on RED PALM OIL and was sold on its health giving benefits.I used this in making couscous along with a good sprinkling of BRAGGS SEASONING ( also sold on VITACOST)
Couscous was delicious !
I have to say though ,I would not consider taking this by the spoonful even if it is healthy , I made the big mistake of licking the spoon and was left with a horrible waxy feel and taste in my mouth which I did not find at all pleasant !
So I will only use this in couscous and with stir fried veges etc , not as a by the spoon health supplement.

Perhaps even better than coconut oil!
Like coconut oil, virgin red palm oil is rich in medium chain triglycerides. Red palm oil is antioxidant rich! It is high in vitamin E, specifically the more important tocotrienol form of vitamin E which is difficult find in the common diet. It is also rich in carotenoids.
The best red palm oil comes from Africa (that's were this product comes from). Avoid red palm oil from southeast asia.
Red palm oil is a bit earthy. Some people take to it right away, but most will find it an acquired taste.
