Bob's Red Mill Coarse Cornmeal -- 24 oz
This adds greatly to cornbread
We started using Bob's Red Mill Coarse Cornmeal about a year ago.
The coarse cornmeal has added substantially to the overall flavor of cornbread that we prepare.
Combined with buttermilk the coarse cornmeal makes the cornbread very tasty and enjoyable. We have noticed a big difference between the regular grind cornmeal and Bob's Red Mill Coarse cornmeal whenever we have run out of the coarse variety.

I enjoy using a small amount of this cornmeal in my cornbread, as it gives it a pleasing little crunch.

Crazy good cornbread - gotta love the crunch!
Just had best corn bread of my life - friend had me over for dinner and made it using this coarse ground cornmeal - says they always buy the coarse, gives it it's crunch. With real butter and honey or molasses YUM YUM YUM can't be beat! Recipe straight off the bag.

Best cornbread ever
Crunchy moist full flavored - just had the best cornbread of my life... made with Bob's Red Mill Coarse Corn Meal. A friend invited me for an impromptu meal and prepared cornbread muffins off the recipe on the bag. With real butter and honey or sorghum molasses - WOW!

Very very coarse
This is almost like coarse grits. It made a very crumbly corn muffin. And the weight on the package is wrong. 1 level cup weighed over 7 ounces,It is heavier per cup than stated. I would not use this ever for cornbread or muffins. Maybe OK for polenta, or if you really don't mind coarse crunchy crumbly muffins. If you follow the recipe on package, your muffins will be dry and crumbly. Try their fine grind instead.
