This fine whole grain cereal is milled from whole kernels of U.S. #1 dark northern hard red spring and soft white wheat and is complete in every respect. It contains all the wheat germ with its precious oil, all the fiber from the outer bran layer of the wheat and all the protein from the inner endosperm.


For a nutritious high fiber hot breakfast cereal, bring 3 cups water and ½ teaspoon salt to a boil. Add 1 cup Bob's Whole Wheat Farina Cereal and turn heat down. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Makes enough for four hungry folks. Serve with honey (or brown sugar), milk and a big smile! Add almost any fruit--sliced bananas, peaches, raisins, etc. and/or date, walnut, pecan or sunflower pieces to increase your breakfast nutrition and pleasure.


Easy to Microwave! Bring to boil 1 cup water by cooking on high (100% power) for 3 minutes in a covered microwaveable bowl. Stir in ¼ cup Bob's Whole Wheat Farina. Cover and cook on high for 2-½ minutes. Stir and let stand covered until ready to eat.

Great healthy snack at night At 22:00 I sometimes am hungry and want to eat something that is not healhty (i.e. chips, cookies, ice cream). This is my answer. Tastes good plain. October 15, 2014
Healthy Cream of Wheat I loved cream of wheat as a child. Now I can enjoy an adult version that is still good-tasting but also healthier. It's organic and high in fiber, both of which are important to me. My 9-year-old also just loves this. I cook it for longer than recommended, 20 minutes instead of 10, because we like a softer consistency. I also use twice as much liquid as per the directions (half milk/half water) so that by the end of the 20 minutes it is the perfect consistency. We often serve it with mixed nuts and seeds. A little agave or maple syrup tops it off. It's one of our favorite breakfast items. May 2, 2014
