Bob's Red Mill Soy Grits Description

Soy grits are made from lightly toasted soybeans that have been ground into coarse pieces. The toasting brings out their pleasant, nutty flavor. High in fiber and protein, soy grits are enjoyable as a cereal with milk and fruit. They are great for boosting nutrition while adding texture and consistency to baked goods. Soy grits may also be stirred into soups, stews, or casseroles, toasted with granola, or mixed into ground beef to make meatballs and meatloaves.
For two tasty and nutritious servings of hot Soy Grits:
Bring 2 cups water to a boil, add ½ cup Soy Grits and ½ tsp salt. Reduce heat and simmer for 12 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Serves two.
Keeps best refrigerated or frozen.
