The secret to making scones rich, delicious and healthy is carefully blending the right proportions of hand selected, wholesome ingredients. We proudly use only the finest Northwest oats, stone ground whole wheat flour, sweet miniature raisins and premium spices that make these traditional scones such a healthy pleasure. They're a simple and tasty way to enjoy whole grains in your diet. Split open warm scones and top them with butter, jam or lemon curd.


Cooking Instructions

1 Package Whole Grain Scone Mix

¾ cup Water

½ cup cold Butter or non-hydrogenated Margarine


Preheat over to 425F.

Place the entire Scottish Oatmeal Scone Mix contents in a large bowl. Use a pastry cutter to cut the butter into the mix until it resembles small peas. Stir in the water to form a soft dough. Divide mixture in half. Turn out onto a floured work surface and pat into two 6" discs. Place on a greased baking sheet about 1" apart. Cut each circle into 6 wedges. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.

For a fun variation try adding 2/3 cup of your favorite chopped nuts for a new twist.
