Works like a charm! My 8yr old has suffered from bronchitis over the years and I came across this product and I'm glad I did! As soon as my little one starts coughing, I give her this for a couple of days and just like that, the cough is gone! I love-love-love this syrup and so does my baby! April 15, 2013

There are very few times when this product has not had the desired effect. When my children have an especially stubborn cough, I give then the recommended dose several times (up to 4) before bed in the allowed increments. That way, by the time they go to bed I know if it is working. I do sometimes have to get up in the night to give them another dose, but it usually works to stop the cough, and my child returns to slumber. I appreciate that it does not have any harmful ingredients, and my children like the taste. August 20, 2012

Cough Suppressant & Expectorant

Temporarily relieves coughs due to minor throat & bronchial irritation occuring with a cold or inhaled irritants. Soothes the throat. Helps loosen phlegm (spudtum)& thin bronchial secretions to rid the bronchial passageways of bothersome mucus and drain bronchial tubes. Relieves difficulty in sleeping associated with cough and bronchial conditions.

Boericke & Tafel Children's Cough and Bronchial Syrup Directions

Children 6 to 12 years of age: 2 teaspoons every 2 hours. For severe coughs, repeat every 20 minutes for the first hour, then every 2 hours. Children 2 to 5: half of older children's dose. Children under 2: consult a doctor.

Ingredients: Antimonium sulphuratun aureum 6X 5% Bryonia alba 3X 5% Drosera rotundifola 3X 5%, Eucalyptus, globulus 3X 5% Ipecacuanha 4X 5%, Illicium anisatum 1X 0.75% Contains honey.

Warnings

A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition. If cough persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by faver, rash, or persistent headache, consult a doctor. Do not use this product for persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, emphysema, or if cough is accompanied by excessive phlegm (sputum). As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product.
