Makes excellent fried chicken
I use this with a egg yolk dip and coat the chicken with this flour.
WOW what a treat. It makes excellent chicken wings served with a sweet and sour sauce dip with a hint of red chili in the sauce. It's very appealing. I took wings to a party and they disappeared almost instantly. No one knew they were made with a gluten free product.

Quality Product
This is my favorite coconut flour. I appreciate that it is processed with care, and maintains its nutrient value. Vitacost is also the most cost effective place for me to purchase it. Local stores charge as much as $4 more than what I paid for it here.

My favorite coconut flour!
This coconut flour is great. I don't necessarily think it works any better than any other coconut flour I have tried, but I like the price and I love the packaging. It is so much more convenient to leave this canister in my fridge than to deal with a bag of coconut flour or transfer to another container.

Cumbersome to use and weird aftertaste
I love coconut in general so when I tried this flour I was excited to taste it. The texture was not as fine as I had hoped a little bit grainy. It was difficult to work with which I quickly figured out. I tried to make paleo bread I with it and I was surprised by the after taste. It had a weird taste like...almost artificial or something I cannot describe as if they ground up part of the out parts with the coconut. I ended up throwing that bread away and tried paleo tortillas but I added seasoning to mask the flavor. They turned ok considering it was my first time. I'm still learning how to use it. I found that putting ground ginger for savory or sweet breads alone in the flour helps to mask that weird aftertaste. I really wanted to love it but I guess I still have to keep trying.
