easy to swallow
I bought this for my 7 year old who seems to hate all chewable vitamins. So I decided to purchase something for him to try to swallow. No problem! He loves having an easy to swallow vitamin and I love getting D3 into him without any hassle.

Small pills; just the right dose
From what I have read the body can only absorb 1000 IU's of D3 at a time. I wanted 400 IU's of D3 to supplement my diet along with cal/mag at night. This worked perfect. These pills are very small so they are very easy to take. Was a little concerned I might have a problem digesting them because they are from a fish source. So far I haven't had any. Glass jar arrived wrapped well in bubble wrap. Very pleased. Will continue to buy until I decide I am ready to go to 1000 IU's.

Perfect Ratio
I found out my vitamin D level was WAY too low. I reacted poorly to the dry (non-fish) vitamin D that i had tried. I wanted a product that contained vitamin A but not in the large doses present in most vitamin A & D combination pills. My vitamin A status was normal, but wanted to supplement it for numerous reasons (read about vitamin A etc. ..on Weston Price Foundation website)./ At any rate, this product has 600iu vitamin A to 400iu Vitamin D, exactly what i was looking for. Very happy with this product, and with Country Life products in general. I use their magnesium as well.

It's important to take vit D regularly if you don't get enough sunshine.
The softgels are very small and easy to swallow. The amount of 100% daily value per serving makes them perfect! Great value as well. It also says on the label that they are 3rd party tested. It gives a piece of mind since heavy metal presence in fish oils is a big issue.
And they come in a glass bottle which is a bonus on it's own!

I have used this product for a couple of years and I'm very pleased with the quality and of course the price cannot be beat.
