I'm not vegan or vegetarian, but I do have a corn allergy. These are fantastic. I hadn't eaten a marshmallow in over 4 years- so glad to have these available. I used to have to try to find marshmallows at Passover (pareve = corn free) so it's great to have these available year round.
I wish they didn't use soy protein isolate, but seeing as I don't really have any other soy in my diet, I can deal with it for the rare occasions I need marshmallows.

Make sure you order extra!!
As vegans marshmallows are not a regular part of our diet. In fact my 5 children have never had them until Vitacost brought them to use. WE LOVE YOU VITACOST. I told my 14 year old we would save them to make s'mores. He said lets eat them NOW! They were so happy to make smores that I have already placed another order. Make sure you order extras.

Holy moly. I am not vegan or even vegetarian, so my affection for these is not induced by an inability to eat other marshmallows. These are the YUMMIEST. The texture is so boingy and smooth. They melt nice and smooth. They melt at a higher temperature than most, so they stay more intact in hot chocolate, which is way better in my opinion than marshmallows that just disappear and make your drink sweeter. I usually don't like marshmallows with vanilla in them, but it's subtle and perfect in these. I just can't say how dreamy these are.

The whole family loves these!
I'm so glad that Vitacost carries a vegan marshmallow! These are really wonderful and my kids and husband really love them. Now I will say that they are a firmer texture than your average marshmallow, but they melt nicely in hot chocolate and work nicely with baked goods. I also use these in my sweet potatoes.
