I was so excited to try this shampoo and conditioner after reading so many glowing reviews. Unfortunately, it has turned my hair and scalp into a dried out mess. I have very thick, course, wavy blonde hair and I need to use very moisturizing products to keep it tame.
This shampoo is labled "moisturizing for dry hair," but it is a far cry from that claim. It smells nice and I desperately wanted to like this shampoo since it was so affordable. Looks like I'll have to go back to shelling out big bucks for a product that actually works :-(
The conditioner was okay, but not great. I would not mind using the conditioner, but it would have to be in conjunction with a different shampoo.

Love it!
I've tried several natural, "healthy" shampoos, and most of them do not lather up well at all. You have to use so much to get it all over your head. But this Desert Essence shampoo is great! A small amount lathers up very well and does a great job of cleaning my hair. The scent is a bit "sweet", but it's light, and doesn't bother me when I use it. I'm very pleased.

My new favorite shampoo!
I ordered this shampoo on a whim, mainly because I love coconut scented products. What a wonderful surprise! This shampoo leaves my hair soft and thick, better than any shampoo I've ever purchased in a hometown store. If you're looking for an all natural product that will leave your hair feeling great, this is it! You won't be disappointed.

so so...
i've tried several natural (sulfate and paraben free) shampoos over the last months. i really wanted to like this product and had high hopes after having read the other reviews. for a sulfate free product, it lathered very nicely and it undoubtedly smells great too. unfortunately, even this shampoo left my hair dry and frizzy which makes me very sad. i gave it a couple of weeks, hoping it would improve, but it didn't. i'm afraid i'll have to go back to the dark side...
