Too strongly scented.... For me, the lavender scent is too strong to enjoy it. The biggest drawback of the product is that you need to wash twice to get all the make-up off of your face (I don't use much make-up, either). The product recommends washing twice per the instructions on the bottle. April 3, 2013

Feel clean but not dry on my face I really like the feeling of cleanness on my face and also on the washing sponge. More importantly, there is no more dry feeling on my skin. It works well as it is called " Moisture" and "Clean"!!! March 21, 2013

Heavy scent I prefer fragrance free, and when there is a scent, it has to be very light. This product has a heavier smell than I want, and the cleanser left my face feeling dry. Applying moisturizer after cleansing and rinsing may alleviate this, but my skin really felt the drying effect after rinsing the cleanser away. Dessert Essence has a cleanser that I suggest you try! Great natural product! I absolutely love this line. I first try the Solar protective moisturizer SPF30+ upon the recommendation from my daughter. Then I venture out to experiment other products in this line. Devita Moisturize Cleanser is great and of course I love the natural ingredients and it comes in a glass bottle not plastic. I use 1-2 pump and that is all I need to cleanse my face. Little bit goes a long way so it will last a while. I have combo skin type and sensitive. I am glad it works well for the oily part of my skin, however on the dryer side of my skin it leaves a bit of a tight feeling but not necessary dryer if that makes any sense. It is fine after I put moisturizer on my face. So over all this product work for me. As for as the sensitivity part of my skin I am giving it a thumb up. I am picky about the ingredients as well as how it will react to my sensitive skin and it definitely pass the test. December 7, 2012

The Devita Story...

For nearly my entire life my skin had suffered from chronic cystic acne, and then when my 40's hit, so did the ravages of the Arizona sun i had lived in all my adult life. After spending many hundreds of dollars on expensive "name brand" products, which did nothing except break down my bank account and break out my face, i decided to use my background in chemistry to "deconstruct" those well known high priced portions. And then, to top it all off, they were all loaded with poisons and preservatives!

After that sad discovery, I knew I had to take matters into my own hands. At that time, i had a small essential oils company, and i began working with organic aloe vera as a dynamic delivery system together with cutting edge advancements in active natural ingredients to create the beginnings of an effective natural products line. Devita Moisture Cleanser Aloe Vera Directions

Cleanse face and neck morning and evening by gently lathering a small quantity on moistened hands, then apply to face/neck in a press and swirl pattern to break up congestion and impurities. For complete make-up removal, may need to repeat. Rinse and follow with toner, desired treatment and moisturizer.

Ingredients: Aloe barbadensis* (aloe vera gel), saponaria officinalis (soapwort) extract, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil*, lecithin phospholipid, prunus serotina (cherry bark) extract, tropaeolum majus (cress) extract, prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, panthenol (vitamin B5), capric/caprylic triglycerides (derived from coconut), cinchona calisaya (cinchona), pelargonium gravelons (geranium) essential oil, rosa damascena (rose) oil, anthemis nobilis (chamomile) flower essential oil, lavandula officinalis (lavender) essential oil and tocopherol (vitamin E).
