Dr. Bronner's Magic Organic Hair Creme Lavender Coconut -- 6 fl oz
Smells like summer!
I adore this hair creme. It is not heavy, sticky or gloopy but has a nice light feel to it but you must like the smell of lavender to enjoy this. It has a nice hint to it but not overpowering and it works great for my thick and curly long hair. Lasts a very long time too!
Will buy again.

Works great for my curly hair!
I have the kind of hair where I NEED the stuff that 'weighs down' hair. Most leave-ins do almost nothing for my frizz. Yes, it is true that this stuff CAN be greasy looking and/or weigh your hair down if you have finer hair or straight hair. If you have curly hair and you know from experience that it seems to soak up product like a sponge and never/rarely looks greasy and you're prone to frizz, you will LOVE this stuff! I put it in my wet hair and also a bit of hair pudding (Eden Coconut oil). Without the Burt's Bees Hair Cream the hair pudding does nothing for my frizz. After air drying, my hair will be a little greasy looking and the curls are kind of clumped together but once I fluff them a bit with my fingers, WOW, no frizz and I have great curls. I've been out of this for a few months and have been trying other things and have had MANY bad hair days and am just so glad to have this hair cream again that I felt compelled to come and order a bunch to stock up and write a review while I'm at it!! :)

organic but drying
hard to find a natural conditioner (or any cosmetic for that matter). problem with this one is that it uses ethanol as the preservative, which is one of the only 'natural' preservatives. unfortunately ethanol concentration must by 40% to act as preservative so this was extremely drying for my hair (I also bought the lotion and it has the same problems). fortunately a new natural preservative is on the market made with silver ions that have enhanced stability (SilverIon). you can purchase some goat milk lotion with it from Bend Soap's website.

I have naturally curly hair. I don't dye or heat style my hair and, until I used this product, it was very healthy. I really wanted to like this but there is just so much wrong with it. Use too little and it does nothing for your hair. Use what should be just enough, and you have a greasy mess. Either way, this has so much alcohol in it that after a few weeks of use, it wrecks your hair. Save yourself a lot of trouble and don't bother with this.

We love this leave-in conditioner. A little bit goes a long way toward taming the dry fly-aways of winter and the ornery tresses resulting from the humidity of summer. With 6 heads of long hair in the house varying from extremely curly, wavy, and absolutely straight, we should know!
