Dr. McDougall's Ramen Soup Vegan Chicken -- 1.8 oz
Bland and not filling
I'm a huge fan of Ramen, so I tried these Ramen cups for a quick grab lunch. They were a disappointment. The flavor is bland, and needs soy sauce added to help make it palatable. Also there aren't that many noodles in the cup, so it wasn't a very filling lunch.

My favorite flavor of McDougall's Soups!
I have been trying various flavors of McDougall's soups for the past year. I just tried this one and LOVE it! I am reordering 24 of these right now.

The first thing I noticed was the smell. It was like burnt chemicals. The taste wasn't horrible but the smell made me gag and I struggled with swallowing it. I guess it would be okay if you're used to vegan food, but I'm not as used to meat replacements as I was when I was vegetarian.

I was skeptical at first but decided to try these soups. I found them to be quite satisfying for a quick lunch or snack while traveling. Most places I stop at on the road do not cater to the Vegan lifestyle, so a little hot water right in their container is all you need.
When I am home and don't feel like cooking, I dump the contents in a small saucepan of boiling water and add a few frozen vegetables to the base mix and have a very nice satisfying meal.

It's not bad, but not particularly good either. I prefer Amy's no chicken noodle soup to this.
