cold pressed, non GMO, organic and it one of the best tasting walnut oils I have tried. The walnuts have not been roasted so it has a lighter taste and body than a roasted walnut oil but still packs a huge amount of flavor.
I also like that it is in a brown glass bottle. I have tried other Walnut oils that were prepared in the same way but were packed in a plastic container and they did not taste half as pure and down right tasty as this oil does. Although more expensive than others I have found, for overall quality I have no problem paying the extra so I can enjoy this walnut oil while it lasts. Great product.

mildly delicious, will repurchase when it runs out
I was looking for a healthier unrefined, and thus unheated, oil. It would have been even healthier to retain the fiber by grinding my own walnuts… aw… maybe someday.
Well packed amber bottle in heavily insulated pouch with 2 ice packs inside. Transported over the weekend and the ice packs had little to no cold left, but must have kept it cool for much longer. I'd recommend ordering early in the week to avoid longer weekend wait time. Winter would also be good, although I got mine in sweltering July seemingly without any ill effects. Keep refrigerated as unrefined oils have more organics to spoil.
First the sniff test… not much of anything, faintly of walnuts. Direct taste… mild, smooth, pleasantly light walnut. Made mustard/vinegar salad dressing with it… could no longer distinguish the walnut flavor. Seemed wasteful as I might as well have used the cheaper olive oil. Tried it directly on air-popped popcorn. (I use a special bowl made for popping plain kernals in the micro) This was a good use, and may have even rivaled truffle oil. Very nice, and I believe a step healthier from the coconut oil (saturated fat) I had been using. I assume this because the walnut oil is a liquid rather than the solid coconut oil.
ps: I think unrefined walnut oil may also be available on ebay, perhaps cheaper.
