Gladrags Organic Undyed Day Pads -- 3 Pack
Shrinks and doesn't last
These were great for the first year. However, two of my glad rags have broke. The metal snaps on them tend to stick together and when it comes to changing the pad, the metal snaps refuse to unsnap and therefore tear the metal snap completely out of the pad. I have bought replacement metal snaps in attempts to fix the pad but it still had the same problem with the new snaps. Stick with willow pads or handmade ones from etsy.com. Hemp is stronger then cotton and these gladrags clearly prove that. My hemp ones (same cost as the glad rags) that are 5-7 years old are still going strong and looks like their snaps are definitely not popping off the fabric!

Good to your body & the environment
First, the pros: because they are made of cotton, you don't get the same feeling of chafing you get with disposable pads. They are soft and comfortable against the skin. I also like not having an adhesive, that sometimes folds during wear. But best part about GladRags is that they are organic - it seems only recently that more information has been released about the amount of chemicals in conventional pads and tampons. (And unlike chemicals we ingest, those that enter the body through the skin are not filtered by the liver.) The last pro about GladRags is, of course, they are so environmentally friendly! They aren't hard to clean either.
Now the cons: When I wore these for the first time, they did seem a bit bulky, but I got used to it. If you are used to wearing tampons, it will be an adjustment. I would not recommend using them while exercising or wearing tight clothing. And while they are environmentally friendly, you will have to put in a bit of extra time in terms of soaking them once you've used them. But to me, it's more than worth it! Great product

works for me
These would not have worked when I was younger and flow was really heavy and unpredictable. But work great now and are much easier than I had imagined. Glad I made the switch.

so soft and comfy
i've never worn a pad this comfy - makes me feel great, it is great for my health (no nasty bleached materials on my most sensitive parts) and it is great to be doing something good for the environment!

Soft and Comfortable
The only drawback is they need to be ironed after washing.
