At last, you can enjoy a classic dish in just 30 minutes, Goya® Rice & Red Beans. This traditional dish is made up of long grain rice and red beans slowly simmered in onions, red and green peppers, with subtle spices. It goes great with meats, chicken, pork chops and fish.

Directions

1. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 1/2 cups of water to a boil, add contents of rice packet and 2 tablespoons of Goya olive oil, corn oil or butter. Stir.

2. Boil for 1 minute, cover tightly, and reduce heat to Low. Cook for 25 minutes or until water is absorbed.

3. Stir rice and serve. Makes 5 (1/2 cup) servings.
