Good primer
This is not a typical makeup primer because it doesn't have dimethicone or that silky/gliding feel, which takes getting used to. When I first got this, I didn't like that aspect, I wanted something silky to fill in the pores/lines.
This primer you spray either directly on your face or in the palms of your hands and press into your face, either way works. This really extends the wear of my makeup and throughout the day, my face feels very soft, not oily.
So, even though this isn't your typical primer, it works! I would recommend this to anyone, even younger ladies, b/c it's actually good for your skin, contains cucumber, caffeine, etc. A bottle will last you a long time b/c you won't need much. Also, make sure to allow it to dry before applying makeup.

Don't be fooled by the word "primer"
I purchased Greensations Youthful Trends Caffeinated Makeup Primer because: 1) It specifically states it is a primer and I was looking for a makeup primer that would cover my pores to provide a smooth base for foundation application 2) It has natural ingredients. To be fair the description says, "Tones and Hydrates, Reduces Sweating, Extends Makeup". It does not claim to fill in pores or smooth over imperfections and wrinkles, which is what I thought a primer should do. So I was fooled by the word "primer", thinking it would provide a smooth surface so my mineral makeup would not sink into my pores and wrinkles. This product's main ingredient is water. That's exactly the consistency and what it feels like on my face. It's not oily, or creamy, or gel-like. I see no difference in the texture of my makeup with or without this "primer". It provides only slight hydration, not enough to reduce the appearance of wrinkles like a moisturizer would, but enough so my skin does not feel dry. I do not feel any kind of tightening effect that I expected from the caffeine. I like the natural ingredients and feel it may be a healthy product for my skin, so I think I will use it at night under a moisturizer. It's pricey, not a good value just for a night-time skin toner. I don't know that I will purchase it again. Just beware of this product if you are looking for a traditional makeup "primer".

Great product
I looove this product!I use it on top of makeup, it moistens my skin and makes wrinkles less visible, especially around my eyes. I would definitely recommend.

Best Primer I've Found
This primer works beautifully. My foundation glides smoothly and seamlessly across it and it also has a mild tightening effect from the caffeine. It is easy to apply with the spray pump and a little goes a long way. Very pleased and will continue to purchase!
