Health From the Sun PFO Pure Fish Oil -- 8 fl oz
Excellent high-quality fish oil
This fish oil is excellent. I have reviewed the third party data for impurities (such as mercury), and the product is ultra-safe. There is no fishy taste thanks to the orange flavor. I always recommend liquid fish oil rather than the softgels so you can immediately tell if the product has spoiled on the shelf.
All the other companies which I contacted regarding their quality data and especially regarding mercury content were not at all forthcoming. I was told that this data is "proprietary," to which I responded "nonsense." If your product is good or "pure," you should let physicians review the data. Probably, the other companies do not do third party testing. Health From The Sun dealt with me honestly and directly with the data. This is the product for me and my patients.

Excellent Product--High Omega 3 EPA and DHA
This is the best product I've found for very high levels of Omega 3 EPA and DHA per tsp. Besides that, the oil has the most beautiful orange aroma, and I prefer it non-capsulated so that I can determine the amt. I want to give. Can't recommend this highly enuf'!

Great taste, no odor, high in omega-3's
I was looking for a way to start taking fish oil and most people recommend scarfing down various amounts giant sized pills a day. There is no way i was going to do that so i tried to find a liquid version of the product.
When i found this, i was a bit nervous it would smell like fish and taste even worse. To my surprise, the citrus flavoring that is added completely wipes out any hint of this liquid having anything to do with fish. If you love orange flavored anything, this oil is fantastic.
Taking it by the teaspoon really isn't an issue. No bad flavor or aftertaste to speak of. The great thing about the liquid is that you can put it on anything. I add it to smoothies, put it on salads, sandwiches, you name it, I've tried it.
The one thing to note about this product is that if you leave it sit too long, the citrus seems to go away and the fish smell/taste takes over. For example, say you make a smoothie before work to drink as a mid morning snack. If you add the oil in when you make the smoothie, by the time you go to drink it it will actually smell and taste like fish. Just make sure you add the oil to whatever you are eating/drinking just before you eat it and you won't have any problems.

It's usually better to take any nutrient in liquid form, but some fish oil is hard to swallow because of the taste. Not this one! It's also better to take straight liquid form of fish oil because gelcaps can be rancid and you don't know it. If the liquid form is rancid, you can immediately tell. This one has always been fresh. I'm so glad I found this product! I feel more alert and it also eliminates the little bit of joint stiffness I have when I am using this fish oil regularly.
