This premium quality Gluten Free Cornbread Mix begins with all natural, gluten free ingredients that are both additive and preservative free. 1 box Hodgson Mill Gluten Free Cornbread Mix • 1 Cup milk • 2 Large eggs • 1/2 cup vegetable oil


Preheat oven to 375% F

Grease one 8-inch square or round pan or 12 muffin cups


Pour the cornbread mix in a medium size mixing bowl and set aside.

In a small mixing bowl, beat milk, egg and oil together and pour into dry mix.

Using a large spoon, beat batter until smooth. Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth top with a spatula to evenly distribute. Bake 25-30 minutes or until top is firm and lightly golden.


Cornbread muffins: Follow the directions above. Evenly distribute the batter between the 12 muffin cups. Bake 18-22 minutes or until done.

Practically perfect After trying all the major brands of GF cornbread, I think this is the best one. The texture and taste are very close to regular corn bread. Its in my regular rotation now. August 1, 2014

Best cornbread ever! This mix is so good! I can't have eggs so I replace the 2 eggs with 1/4 cup of applesauce and it turns out perfect and moist. I also sometimes add a diced jalapeno and a handful of shredded sharp cheddar cheese. Turns out perfectly!! I also cook it in my belgium waffle maker and make cornbread waffles to top with chili. top notch cornbread Since having celiac's disease for many years I had to experiment with hundreds of mixes to find whats best, easiest, and tastiest with different breads. I have an awesome recipe for GF cornbread that I (and everyone else) thought was unbeatable GF cornbread. But this mix turned out to be just as good tasting. Since it is so easy to prepare and very reasonably priced, I decided just to make this mix from now on. I've made it several times and buy it by the case now. My recipe is very time consuming and GF flours are quite expensive so I don't plan on making cornbread by any other means again, just Hodgson Mill's cornbread mix. I recommend it to all my GF friends. I've tried other brands with disappointing results but this brand always comes out awesome, actually better than the regular wheat and corn based cornbread. Now if they would just get the price lowered I'd be very happy! Sidenote: make sure and follow the directions exactly for perfect cornbread every time. March 12, 2014
