Hyland's Smile's PRID Drawing Salve -- 18 g
I had fallen backwards into one of our cacti in our yard. My husband had been picking cactus needles out of my back with tweezers for months. I went searching for Watkins drawing salve and came across Prid. Prid was much MUCH cheaper so I tried it instead. It's taken about 3 weeks, but I finally feel like all of the cactus needles are gone. (With no picking or tweezers!)This product works great and the price is definetely a plus.

It's such a strange product
I had no idea what to do with this but ordered it anyway because it fascinated me, the price was right and I saw good reviews when I googled it. A few weeks later a wasp and I sat on my desk chair at the same time. YOUCH!!! I couldn't get the whole stinger out and for several weeks I could feel a painful little bump where I'd been stung. Then I remembered this salve and began to apply it twice a day. Not every day because I'd forget, but almost every day. It didn't work overnight, however a few days later I touched the spot (as I mentioned, I got stung where I sit so I couldn't see it) and felt a little nub raised above the skin. I was able to pick it out with my fingernail. I did this for one week until it was entirely gone. No more painful bump! My husband has since used it for a wooden splinter and it helped him, too. I can see it's not something I'll be reaching for on a regular basis, but when I DO need it, I'm going to be really happy it's in my medicine cabinet.

This stuff is excellent.I work in a fiberglass plant & get slivers of glass in my skin.I put this on & cover it up with a band-aid for a few days,& it comes out. Also good for boils, wood splinters etc.It smells nasty, but works!!

I bought this to remove a splinter. I'm under the impression that it's a drawing salve. So far no results. But in all honesty, I don't know if I'm using this properly, the directions are extremely vague. Who knows?
