J.R.Liggett's Old-Fashioned Bar Shampoo™ Jojoba and Peppermint -- 3.5 oz
Works and makes sense
We like this a lot. It's natural, cheap, smells nice, and works!

From now on, I will use this product for the rest of my life.

This is a great product. It is lasting well, it creates a nice lather without over sudsing, it smells nice and it cleans well. I am currently washing my hair 2 times a week with it, and my hair is soft and it really helps the curl. Highly recommend.

Bad experience probably due to having hard water
I wanted to love this so bad because it is detergent and chemical free and I wanted to switch to a more natural product. But beware if you have hard water! I think it would be great if I had soft water but it made my hair unmanageable with tons of build up and residue, it was HORRIBLE. But I'm not bashing the product because I think it was mostly to do with the hard water. I purchased 2 bars and the mini traveler and unfortunately they are useless right now because I wont use them unless I get a water conditioner.

I just recently decided to stop using regular shampoo (I used a lot of mainstream shampoo, whatever you could get at the $ store, and sometimes the fancier natural stuff if I found it on sale, but that has a lot of extra mysterious ingredients as well). Shampoo was pretty much the only non-natural thing I used on my body. I tried a few natural recipes that I found to have great reviews online like coconut milk and aloe gel, or coconut milk and castile soap, and HATED THEM. I am VERY picky about not having super dry or greasy hair, or anything of the sort. And although I wouldn't say this shampoo bar does as good of a job as regular shampoo, it comes very very close, good enough for me, and thats saying something. I plan on stocking up on a bunch of bars and trying the different kinds! Also I've had success with using the shampoo bar and then rinsing with diluted (50/50) Apple Cider Vinegar.
