Who needs sugar?
I bought this product based on a recommendation. I have only used it in baking with great results.

Good sugar substitute
There is no sugar substitute that I've tried that tastes just like sugar, but this is close enough. While I find that it doesn't usually work great on its own in baked goods, it does work beautifully when I combine it two to one with Ideal brand sugar substitute. I make a low carb fudge like brownie that is an excellent treat for my family, and one I don't feel guilty about making for them. We can't expect baked goods to taste exactly like sugar when we've cut it out, but really, with a little experimenting it can get close enough ... and healthier, too. Agree, though, that this product could be priced a lot lower. It's a shame that the healthier the food the higher the price.

This product works well.
I used it to make my holiday pies and bread and everything turned out delicious. It's a bit on the pricey side, but I like the fact that it isn't sugar and that it is made from fruit peels. I feel it is safer than the other non-sugar sweetners on the market.

I love this product!
Just Like Baking Sugar is by far the best sugar substitute I've used in baking. It gives a good and distinctive taste (could it be the chicory root?) to baked goods. So far I have made brownies and cocount cake (w/o icing) and and pleased with the results. I am grateful that it does not raise the blood sugar levels. My bf is diabetic, so I have to make sure that he eats low GI foods, which I am also willing to do for longevity and a healthy life.
I jsut wish JLBS was a little cheaper. I will use JLBS for occasional baking.

My favorite sweetener!!!
I really like this sweetener. It is natural and healthy and tastes good. I use the baking sweetener for making gluten free cookies. They come out good. I use the table top sweetener in my tea and I sprinkle it over berries. It is low glycemic so it does not raise blood sugar or cause yeast. It does not have a bitter aftertaste like stevia. This is my favorite sweetener.
