Kal Magnesium Glycinate -- 400 mg - 90 Tablets
This is the first magnesium I've tried that didn't have the dreaded side effect (the runs). I take it at night before bed. I like this so well I ordered another bottle so I wouldn't run out.

A great form of magnesium.
I have taken a calcium/magnesium supplement for many years and thought I was covered. But after an injury that left my shoulder muscles cramped for months, I began doing some research on what might help them nutritionally. Magnesium helps to relax muscles. And as it turns out, recent information suggests that many Americans are deficient in magnesium, especially older people, which I am. I researched the different forms of magnesium and checked with many of the nutrition professionals that I trust and it turns out the glycinate form works well for most people. I took the amount recommended on the bottle. I have not had any "loose bowels" that can result from magnesium. I have noticed that overall my body's muscles seem less tense and I feel calmer. Turns out magnesium is a good anti-stress nutrient, too.
