What can I say....?
If your baby is a chewer, you simply must buy toys by Kong, and Vitacost has them so reasonable, buy several! My German Shepherd can destroy nearly anything you give her to play with in record time, except Kong toys. The reason I bought these Kong toys was because I knew how sturdy they were. I still buy some things I know won't last for long....just because they are cute. If you want toys that will last, I highly recommend the Kong brand!

Tougher than Dizzy
Firm, chew-resistant, rubber ball. A bit heavy but large dogs don't mind this. The most durable toy I've found so far, with a bit of life to it since it bounces. It seems a bit steep in price (although VitaCost makes it more affordable than other vendors). My only reservations are that it does not float (first one sank when Dizzy dropped it in Lake Michigan) and the dark red color is hard to see at dusk in the dog-park.

excellent, highly durable dog toy
If your dog has a strong jaw and can ruin a lot of toys, Kong toys are a must-- after going through dozens of tennis balls, we upgraded to this large Kong ball--our German Shepherd loves it and she can't destroy it! It is heavy, durable rubber like all Kong products, and is large enough that there is no concern about choking (make sure you get the right size for your dog). We've had lots of fun play times with this and the Kong flyer/frisbee. Highly recommended!
