Methylcobalamin is active immediately upon absorption, while other forms(e.g., cyanocobalamin) must be converted to methylcobalamin in a two-step process. The methyl form also demonstrates exceptional activity in areas where other forms are simply not active. SECOND - great bang for your buck...2500mcg for a full stopper, if you halve the amount you still get a lot of product (1250mcg) and the bottle will last twice as long. THIRD - it tastes much better than any other b12 supplement I've tried...a little sweet for me but the Vitacost liquid b complex literally tastes dirty, so Liquid Health's product is a big step up.
