Doesn't taste great, but gives me energy
I agree that MaCafe doesn't taste good, but it does give me energy without the speedy feeling of caffeine. I use it as a medicine, not a tasty drink. I've gotten more used to the taste- it's not terrible, just not great. I don't know the right preparation, but I put a spoonful in a cup of hot water and add honey. It would probably be good with coconut milk or hazelnut milk.

Nothing like I expected!
This product has so many benefits....if you can gag it down. It has no instructions on how to prepare. States to make just like coffee, instant or brewed? also states you can drink it iced... again if you can Gag it down. I was so dissapointed as I was so excited to reap the benefits of the maca root, but feel deceived by the comparison to coffee. It's nothing like, nor can you prepare it like coffee. If I could get my money back I would. Now it's just sitting in my cupboard and will probably get thrown in the trash....soooooo sad!

better than coffee
Maca takes some getting used to, but I prefer this over coffee now. Gives me energy and tastes good too.

Delicious Recipe
I tried this with hot water. Didn't care for it. BUT...
Here is how I made this delicious!
Mix 1/4 teaspoon MaCafe to 6 oz. hot water.
Add 1 teaspoon xylitol (like sugar).
Add heavy whipped cream from a can heaping over brim of cup.
Stir until well mixed.
DELICIOUS!

yuck
I had hopes of this being similar to other grain coffee subsitutes, but found the taste very 'burnt' and hard to disguise. May be okay mixed in with something else as an extra ingredient but tastes pretty yuck on it's own.
