Great organic product
Firm and flavorful, great on sandwiches/salads and for blending with homemade hummus. A little pricey but there are a good number of whole organic peppers in there. Healthy pantry vegetable to have on hand.

Wasn't able to eat.
I had two of this same product delivered and both had issues.
The first one was leaking before I took it out of the box, so Vitacost sent me another one. The second one seemed okay until I opened it, which then mold was growing inside...gross!
The manufacturing company may have a packaging issue they need to resolve, therefore I wouldn't recommend this product at this time.

Great flavor. Great price.
The Vitacost price is cheaper than my co-op. These peppers have more flavor than other brands.
To keep them from forming mold, you have to add filtered water to the jar so the liquid always covers the peppers.

Flavor is okay; goes bad EXTREMELY fast
Once opened, these go bad in about a week. I kept mine tightly sealed in the fridge right after opening for the first time & was astounded to see a bit of mild starting to grow after about ten days of being closed. There's no way in my household that I could use up a big jar of red peppers like this in a week or less. There were a lot of seeds in the jar- considering that these are bell peppers & not hot peppers, I feel for the price those should've been removed (they're not anything you want to eat, of course). Not worth the cost to me, and the flavor is nothing special.

Delicious
So nice to have an organic option for roasted red peppers. These are as delicious as they look. Great on sandwiches, on pizzas, pasta -- you name it. Love them.
