Not the best capers I've had...but not the worst. They are mild tasting & for what you get they're overpriced.

I keep these on hand in the pantry. They're great in pasta dishes. Really good flavor.

BEST TASTING WILD CAPERS
These tiny organic capers are absolutely scrumptious. They don't taste saturated with preservatives, aren't mushy, or too salty (you can rinse them in water if salt is an issue). They add a wonderful flavor to cold salads: pasta, vegetable, greens, legumes, and to omlettes and pestos. We created a mock chicken salad recipe using Eden organic garbanzos and always add Mediterranean Organic Wild Capers to give it that pickled flavor that capers give so distinctively to all dishes- hot or cold.

Now I'm Hooked!!!
I use to be able to get a yummy sauce for chicken at a local Trader Joe's which had capers in it. But they haven't had it for years. I found a recipe online not too long ago for Chicken which happens to use capers in the sauce (use as many capers as you want, smashing some with a fork to release its flavor). It's now one of our favorite recipes & wouldn't dream of leaving out the capers. The capers add just the right amount of zip. In this recipe, the sauce is basically a butter sauce with fresh lemon, I use coconut sap vinegar instead of white wine, and chopped parsley added towards the end. I love these capers so much that I have actually eaten them with a spoon.
