Method Gel Hand Wash Refill Pouch Free of Dyes and Perfumes -- 34 fl oz
Unscented and wonderful
It's so hard to find a non-scented soap that doesn't have toxic ingredients. This one is great!

Does the job well!
I love this soap and I'm hard to impress. I've been using the scented and was so happy to find the unscented and dye-free refill here. I am super sensitive to perfumes and added chemicals, but I can tolerate even some of the Method scented soaps, most notably the Sea Minerals. Your experience may vary.
Please note: As far as I can tell, the foaming soap is the same as the gel soap, but it is watered down to half strength. So I buy a foaming dispenser and refill it with half water and half gel refill, turn the dispenser end-over-end about 30 times to mix and it works perfectly.

This is a fantastic handwash. I use non-scented housecleaning and personal products because I have cats. Unfortunately, many 'natural' products have essential oils for scent, which cats cannot tolerate well; their livers and kidneys cannot process them efficiently, which leads to serious health issues down the line. I did not want to transfer any oils from my hands to their coats or mouths after petting them or them licking me; as cats directly use their mouths to clean themselves, this is particularly important. This is completely scent- and essential oil-free (and dye-free, which is another bonus), and works wonderfully. It is also free from triclosan (an ingredient popular in hand washes and sanitizers, that is quite harmful to both pets and humans). On their site Method gives a great run-down of the ingredients, and all of the ingredients are safe enough for me to be comfortable with.
I previously purchased another product on Vitacost (the unscented handwash by Nourish), but that left a tacky residue after washing. This foams well, washes away easily, and leaves no such residue. The large refill pouch is fantastic value, and will last a long time for low cost. As a side note, I was unable to find an unscented pump pack of this product by Method (as all of their other handwashes contain essential or fragrance oils) to put this into, but this was easily remedied by purchasing empty handwash bottles from homeware stores and refilling - mildly irritating, perhaps, but nothing too severe.
I am quite grateful to Vitacost for carrying this product. Unfortunately I cannot use any of Method's other products (like their cleaning products or bath wash, which all do contain essential oils, sadly), but I will continue to purchase this unless they remove or change the product. I would implore Method to create an unscented option for all of their products, and would happily purchase if they did.
