Miracle Noodle Shirataki Angel Hair Gluten Free -- 7 oz
I love the angel hair variation. I don't mind the smell, just rinse it well, and don't even bother to cook it (I don't see much difference before and after cooking...) Just add it as-is to soup, oriental dishes and even salads. It absorbs the taste of the dish and is a great "filler" without the calories.

Just not right
I think this is something you have to develop a taste to appreciate. First, the product smells like fish when the bag opens. Even after draining the liquid, rinsing the product, and popping it into boiling water, the smell is still there. After a quick boil, you drain and then dry with paper towels. After it's all ready and paired with sauce, the first bite yields an immediate wince. It just feels weird. There is no actual taste ... just feels like chewing on rubber. I was excited by the idea that I could eat pasta without any calories, but this just did not live up to my hopes.

I liked them
I don't know what all the fuss is regarding the smell when you open package. It last as long as it takes to dump noodles in colander and rinse them. They don't have any taste on their own, like most pastas. However, they pick up the flavor of whatever you use than with. I made Pad Thai and they were great. I also just added soy sauce and peanut butter and little rice vinegar and enjoyed them. Add them to soup and make yourself a healthy homemade 3 min Raman noodle dish. Use your imagination :-)

Low in Calories and Tastes Great!
I love this product. It is very low in calories and I add it to stir fry vegetables and add diced chicken or tofu. It makes a great quick meal.

I was hesitant about trying these, but they are easy to prepare & are a good addition to recipes.
