They have selected Hard Red Winter Wheat, also known as wheat berries, for this latest addition to their expanding line of wholesome grains. Wheat Berries are grains of wheat without the husk. Like the farro and quinoa products, wheat berries are extremely easy to use as side dishes, or as additions to salads, and soups, or even as breakfast cereal instead of oatmeal or cream of wheat. When you want a delicious whole grain for breakfast, simply scoop out a cup of the cooked wheat berries, add dried or frozen fruit, some nuts and a little milk, and microwave.
