It does what it's supposed to do
I'm an avid hiker, I bring a reusable bottle with me everywhere I go. With that being said, it holds my water and doesn't leak, however I wish that it were maybe a little thicker. The first time I brought it out with me I dropped it on a flat rock while I was sitting, so maybe a 1 foot drop and it instantly dented in. I was able to get most of the dent out but I feel like it won't really withstand any amount of rugged use, but if you're just using it around the house/office it should be fine.

The body of this bottle is fine.
The quality issue is with the top. Pour spout is poorly made and broke the first time it was used.

I wish that I would not have bought this bottle. The water tastes metallic.

Back To Canteen Days Of The Wild West
The first thing we think about with a metal water bottle, "How will the water taste? Will it taste metallic?" No, it does not. The taste is actually better than plastic bottles. The second thing we think about is, "How will the water bottle feel in my hands?" The smooth exterior is inviting and easy to hold. I use a cover to maintain the water temperature and protect my hands against condensation and temperatures. There is no insulation so the liquid will go to room temperature as time goes by. There is no leakage with the metal bottle screw-top and that is to be desired. The carabiner clip on the screw top is useful for attaching to my purse. I like this bottle and feel better about my health. The only drawback, or shall I say, what I miss the most about my previous Camelback plastic bottle was the straw. I simply leave the screw top off while I am driving to avoid the fumbling with the screw top and simply close it again when I reach my destination. Remember the canteens of the Wild West?
