Not Your Mother's Girl Powder™ Volumizing Hair Powder -- 0.21 oz
Great lifting power
This stuff gives me the volume and lift I want with my fine, curly hair. The trick is applying it sparingly to the roots only. Too much and it'll feel sticky, applied everywhere and you'll want to shave your head :) Good news is a little really does go a long way, so holding back shouldn't be a problem! I do agree that it's a bit hard to remove for someone like me who doesn't shampoo daily. Just keep in mind that on days you put this on you'll need to do a thorough wash or else you'll get build-up.

While it did increase volume, this powder made my hair feel coated and sticky.

No more limp hair!
Having fine, limp hair has always been frustrating. I tried dozens of products -- including many kinds of mousses, sprays, and special shampoos and conditioners. Not Your Mother's Girl Powder is now the only product I use on my hair after my shampoo and style. It gives my hair body like nothing else, and lasts until my next shampoo. If you're used to your hair feeling silky clean, this may take getting used to since it does feel like product is on your hair. But it's worth it to me to have my hair looking thick and full without being sticky -- and without hair spraying everything in my bathroom!

This product is too sticky.
I didn't like how sticky this product got. It didn't work for volumizing like they claimed it would either. I also had difficulty washing it out.

this amazing powder has a power to hold your hair
as i travel a lot to where there is a liquid restriction at airports so this serves purposes perfectly. it is really light weight and easy to use. the only downside of this product is that it is really hard to wash this product away completely as I use organic shampoo and conditioner. they do not seem to be strong/powerful enough to wash the product away easily. that is why i gave four stars instead of five. other than that, this is a great product. thank you vitacost!
