GRAINY - NOT CHOCOLATEY AT ALL
I've recently been put on a Candida diet and this has probably been the BIGGEST STRUGGLE OF MY LIFE!!! I am 46, have 3 adult children (all still living at home), am married to a wonderful man, we have our own business and I do the paperwork - am 2 years behind and all of the stresses and struggles and financial worries and woes do not compare to giving up pretty much EVERYTHING you're accustomed to eating on a daily basis - wheat, dairy, corn, sugar, eggs, among my "food sensitivities" as well. So, it's REALLY HARD to find something without any of those ingredients that tastes good. I am a chocoholic and an avid lover of sweets - well, it turns out, I'm sensitive to CANE SUGAR! Although, I'm feeling better and have lost 27 pounds, it is very difficult not to eat bread or a cookie when I want to. I ordered the Rice Protein in Chocolate and, although the it has a substantial amount of protein - that's about the ONLY thing substantial about it. It does NOT taste like chocolate at all!! I actually have to add more cocoa and some Stevia to make it taste more real. And no matter how much I try to blend it to a smooth consistency, it's still grainy. I would say to anyone going through this kind of "Life Change" and you are desperate to find something to fill you up, give it a try - you can tweek it here and there, add some coconut manna or cashew butter (YUMMMY) and that helps give a thicker texture and much more flavor. It's OK.

Taste Horribly bad
I have never tasted poison but I believe that it might taste beter than this protein drink!! It could be a good product but the taste hummmm horrible.

love nutribiotic protein powders. plenty of protein grams and a very good price. (really wish vitacost carried their 'spectrum shake'!)
would give this flavor 5 stars if it was more chocolatey; it's a pretty mild flavor. but just add an extra 1/2-1 tablespoon of cocoa or carob powder to the shake and it's good to go.
my favorite is 1-2T choc protein powder (+ the extra cocoa or carob), 1c almond milk, 1/2 banana, 2-3T almond butter -- yum!!

The taste
I love this product for its healthful benefits, but its taste isn't the most desirable, I ordered the chocolate but it doesn't help with the taste. The texture is also very grainy and doesn't dissolve easily in liquid.
