Ashwagandha
Description: Ashwagandha (Withania somniferum) is a plant which has long been used medicinally. Among its many uses in traditional Indian and African medicine are as an anti-inflammatory, fever relief, and against infectious disease.
Studies have shown ashwagandha to be effective in stimulating the immune system.
1 It also appears to inhibit swelling2 and aid memory.3 When used with Asian ginseng, it acts as a general health tonic.4

Natural Sources: Ashwagandha is a plant native to India.

Useful in treatment of: Immune Function Improvement, Loss of muscular strength, multiple sclerosis, rheumatism, fatigue, infertility, sexual debility, indigestion, heart disease, male sterility, hay fever (Taken internally) Carbuncles, inflammations, swelling, sores (Medicated oil applied externally) Ringworm (A compress applied to the affected area)

Recommended Dosage: 1 to 2 grams daily.

Contraindications: Should not be used by patients with autoimmune diseases without consulting a health care professional.
