Bilberry
Description: Bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus) is an antioxidant1 which is especially effective in connective tissue and blood vessels.
Traditionally, bilberry’s leaves and berries have been used to treat scurvy, urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and diarrhea. British pilots during World War II would eat bilberry jam before night raids in order to improve their vision.

Useful in treatment of: atherosclerosis, cataracts, macular degeneration, retinopathy, varicose veins.

Recommended Dosage: 1 to 2 ml tincture daily, or 240 to 500 mg of extract in tablet or capsule form.

Contraindications: None.
