Boswellia
Description: Boswellia (Boswellia caterii) is the Indian tree from which frankincense is distilled. It has long held a place as both a symbol of spirituality and an effective medicinal. It appears to act as both an anti-inflammatory and an analgesic.
Boswellia appears to be beneficial in the treatment of pain, stiffness, and joint mobility related to rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.
Boswellia, when taken in a dose of 550 mg three times daily, appears to help people with ulcerative colitis.

Useful in treatment of: osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ulcerative colitis.

Recommended Dosage: 550 mg three times daily for ulcerative colitis. Taken internally or applied topically for arthritic pains.

Contraindications: None.
