| Description: Pygeum (Prunus africanum) is an evergreen tree found in high elevation areas of Africa. Its bark has long been used as a tea to treat urinary tract infections. Pygeum has anti-inflammatory, anti-edemic, and prolactin-inhibiting properties. Nettles, when given with pygeum, show great promise in the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia.1 Pygeums anti-inflammatory and decongesting effects greatly improve patients with early signs of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia.2 Useful in treatment of: Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia.
