Pygeum
Description: Pygeum (Prunus africanum) is an evergreen tree found in high elevation areas of Africa. Its bark has long been used as a tea to treat urinary tract infections.
Pygeum has anti-inflammatory, anti-edemic, and prolactin-inhibiting properties.
Nettles, when given with pygeum, show great promise in the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia.

Pygeum’s anti-inflammatory and decongesting effects greatly improve patients with early signs of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia.

Useful in treatment of: Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia.

Recommended Dosage: 50 to 100 mg twice daily.

Contraindications: May cause gastrointestinal upset.
