Stash Fusion Green and White Tea begins with mutan white (or white peony), which is made from the leaves of the "sai bai" or "big white" bush, and mixed with buds from the "shui hsien" or "water sprite" tea plant. The leaves have silver tips, and are predominantly greenish-brown in color and very flat. The buds are lustrous, soft and silvery.
White tea is full of potent antioxidants and may even be more beneficial than green tea. This white tea is blended with sencha green tea from Japan, osmanthus green tea from China, Assam green tea from India, Darjeeling green tea from India, and organic green tea from Sri Lanka. The resulting tea is pale gold in the cup and has a uniquely delicate and smooth flavor.
True teas are made from the dried leaves of the Camellia Sinensis, the tea plant, which was first cultivated in China and found growing wild in India. Chinese monks and European traders introduced it to Japan, Sri Lanka and other countries. Today, there are more than 3,000 varieties of tea, each having its own distinct character and named for the district where it is grown. Since 1972, Stash has been committed to providing premium quality teas and an unsurpassed tea drinking experience. Stash begins with simply excellent tea leaves from the world's premier tea gardens and all natural botanical ingredients gathered from around the world. Meticulous blending and tasting of every tea ensures you will enjoy full flavor in every cup.
