Pour hot (but not boiling) water over tea bag and allow to steep for 3-5 minutes. Try sweetening with honey, agave or stevia. Yerba Mate is also good cold. If you're on the go, try dropping two or ore tea bags into a quart of water. Shake it up, let steep for 5 minutes or more and it's ready to drink. Be creative, experiment! There are many ways to enjoy Yerba Mate... Every day!

Fave Tea for cold brewing Yerba is a bit of an acquired taste. You never use boiling water with it, and it's best to wet the leaves with cold water before pouring the hot if you're going to drink it hot. However, cold steeped with a little lemon and some liquid sweet leaf stevia, it's amazing. If you let it steep for a while before adding the lemon, it will change to a beautiful pink color. I never drink pop, but I drink a lot of cold herbal tea with stevia and citrus juice, and this one is my favourite. March 10, 2013
Didn't care much for it myself. One word to sum it up IMO, nasty. February 2, 2013
Delicious Beautiful pink color! I was not sure about the lime in a tea at first but - it is a delicious mix with the usually earthy taste of the Yerba Mate. February 8, 2012
