Just really tasted bad no matter what.
I'm not really that familiar with recovery drinks, but I wanted to try one with my program. I was looking for one with few calories but packed a good punch. The first time I tried to mix it, I followed the directions to the letter and mixed with water. Instantly, this orange scum rose to the top, and no matter how hard I mixed it (I even got out a blender), it wouldn't go away. It was about as bad as my dad's orange fiber drink back in the 80's. I tried to drink it, almost gagging twice, and managed to finish half of it, having to stop to chew the floaty bits. That was just nasty. On the plus side, it did appear to give me more energy and quite a muscle boost, apparent immediately. But I couldn't stomach more than a week of it, and I haven't used it in a month, I just can't bear that scumminess - I even tried mixing with orange juice, lo-cal sports drink, etc. I just think it's bad quality, but it does work. However, it's impossible to ignore the scum.

Probably the Best Value
I've looked for BCAA combo's and this is probably the best. Typically they do not contain Glutamine, but this mix does. I would recommend this as being the best value on the market.
