Universal Nutrition Doctor's CarbRite Diet™ Brownie Mix Sugar Free -- 11.5 oz
This brownie mix was delicious. I used a mixer, fluffed up eggs, added mix and mixed with a mixer. Lastly added water and butter. Mixed well. Put in 8x8 dish, placed this dish in larger dish with warm water in it. Put in oven for 40 minutes. Wow loved the looks and taste of brownies. Will be one of my favorite desserts!!

This was a great surprise. I didn't know anything with low sugar and no gluten could taste this good.
I will for sure be buying many more boxes!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me just say firstly that I have tried a lot of low-carb, sugar-free desserts and never had a problem with the artificial sweeteners, or malitol more specifically when I eat within the recommended serving size.
I baked this according to the instructions exactly. They didn't look like the brownies on the box at all, which was a turn-off, but i let them sit in the fridge for an hour as recommended before trying them. First of all, WAY TOO MUCH BUTTER. There was literally a layer of butter that solidified all over them that I had to flick off. Kinda gross. I ate half of a serving size and saved the rest for later..it's true, they are rich and fudgy.
Half an hour later, I had intense stomach cramps and my stomach was making such terrible and loud noises. Shortly thereafter I had uncontrollable diarrhea that lasted for two hours. It was so intense, my legs were shaking afterwards for the rest of the day. I have NEVER had such an adverse reaction to a food in my life.
One look at the box confirmed my suspicions: this product is practically ALL MALITOL. Even though I can handle the malitol in other low-carb/sugar-free products, my system was absolutely overwhelmed by this.
The brownies themselves are pretty good, but it is so not worth the inevitable stomach trouble in my opinion.
