Vet's Best Flea and Tick Spray for Dogs and Cats -- 8 fl oz
Kills fleas, but not adult ticks
I spray this on my dog's feet and legs after our walks in case any pests have crawled on him. It kills fleas and seed (baby) ticks on contact and both are a big problem here. It does not kill adult ticks, however - I've drowned them in the stuff and they just keep crawling around in it. Nevertheless, I do recommend it because you can spray it as often as you need to & it doesn't harm your pet or you!

Smells Nice, Kills Fleas
I like this product, it does kill fleas on contact BUT, like every other flea product I've tried (and I've tried plenty!) it does NOT really repel them. Maybe for a day, but after that they're back!

Think it works?
The "use as needed" is a little vague. Every few days? When a tick is found? When she doesn't smell yummy?
We back to a mown field edged with all kinds of wild tick-infested bushes. The one time pup chose to explore that area, I freaked when she emerged with three of the b@stards on the Ticktaxi but they hadn't started to burrow. I was using the "use as remembered" method but I'm more diligent now and despite her many daily visits to Ticktown, we've had no problems. And never a flea.

Did not work for us ....
We have not had a significant flea problem. I did find a few fleas on my pup and gave him a flea bath, double and tripple checked to be sure we got everything and then after drying him, well coated hi all over and rubbed into his fur and skin with this spray. Less than 24 hrs later he picked up several more fleas and had more flea dirt in an area that I actually coverd twice with this spray. It smells nice and seems to be gentle, but did not work so it was a waste of my money and time.
